I agree with the others, you need to carry on living the lfe you have without worrying about a recurrance, esp at this stage, 6 years is very good isn't it? well done you!
you are most likely now at the same level of a recurrance as one who has not had this cancer at all. If you google your particular cancer you will get good sites to learn from.

Can't argue with the advice above.
The chances of recurrence of colorectal cancer drops off markedly after 3 yrs (i.e., most recurrences happen before then). Risk is VERY small after 5.

While no one knows for 100% certainty whether your cancer could come back, I would say you are likely cured. You still need close followup with your doctor, at least annually, and need to stay on top of colonoscopy exams as well.

Good job, God bless, best wishes

I think you need to be thinking about the fact that nothing is showing now and you have no symptoms--be thankful!

Live your life well and think positively. Studies have found people who think positively about their health, usually are healthy.

My mom had collarectal cancer and that was long ago when the medical technology was not what it is today. She survived, still alive and very healthy at 80 years old!

Do all the right things to keep your body healthy; eat only organic, non-fat, high fiber foods. Learn how to put into your body only the purest things; water for one out the tap is not healthy. Exercise, get sunlight year round, take vitamins (vitamin D is known to help with rectal cancers, but take it with calcium).
